Know all men by these presents that I Alfred Turner of the County of Lincoln and State of Missouri
and an heir at law of Winslow Turner, deceased, late of said County of Lincoln, for and in
consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars good and lawful money of the United States
to me in hand paid by Abial Robinson of the County and State aforesaid the receipt of
which is hereby acknowledged, and the said Robinson therefrom discharged have granted
bargained and sold and do by these presents grant bargain and sell unto him the said Abial Robinson
his heirs and assigns forever all my right title interest and claim which I now have or may hereafter
have in (and or equity in and to a certain tract of land situate lying and being in the County and State
aforesaid, continuing six hundred and forty acres of land, originally granted by the Spanish authorities
to the said Winslow Turner. The number of the certificate or survey of said claim or tract of land
being one thousand eight hundred and five (1805) as will more fully appear by reference to the Records
in the office of land claims in the City of St. Louis in the State aforesaid, and being the same tract of land
on which the said Robinson now resides, which said tract of land descended to the heirs of said
Winslow Turner, deced, at his death, and my right title interest and claim aforesaid being one
undivided eleventh part thereof or fifty-eight acres and two/Elevenths of an acre of land.
To Have and to hold the said one undivided eleventh part or fifty-eight acres and two/elevenths
of an acres of land above described together with all and singular the improvements, privileges
and all the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining unto him the said
Robinson his heirs and assigns forever. And I the said Alfred Turnerdo covenant and agree
with the said Abial Robinson that I will forever warrant and defend the said one undivided
eleventh part of the said six hundred and forty acres of land or fifty-eight acres and two/elevenths
of an acre, being my right in said tract, unto him the said Robinson against all lawful claims
whatsoever.
In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the twenty-fourth
day of May, In the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty-four.
