Former Resident Dies;
Funeral Rites Held Here

M. N. (Bud) Crawford 91, long time resident of Coleman, died in
Shannon Hospital at San Angelo at 2:30 p. m. Sunday, February 22, 1970. Funeral
services were held in Coleman Church of Christ Monday at 4:00 p. m. and interment
was in Brown Ranch Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
Officating minister was Paul Wallace of Brownwood and pall bearers were
grandsons, Mike, Jerry and Randy Faulks, Steve Couch, and Gregg Donnie, Ronnie,
and Les Crawford
Mr. Crawford, retired farmer and a member of the Baptist church, had
lived in San Angelo for the past seven years. Son of the late Mr and Mrs. Charles
St. Clair Crawford he was born in Bell County May 28 1878, and he and Miss
Amy Morgan were married April 3, 1917 at Fisk.
His survivors include his wife of San Angelo; five daughters, Mrs. Bernice Couch,
Mrs. Nadine Faulks both of Plainview, Mrs. Shirley Hinter of Stephenville,
Mrs. Mildred Bennett and Mrs. Billie Freeman, both of San Angelo; two sons,
Marshall Neal Crawford, Jr of Big Spring and Lester Crawford of Plainview;
one sister, Mrs. Lou Bohannon of Coleman; 19 grandchildren and two great
granddaughters, and a number of nieces and nephews.
