Know all men by these presents, that we William Farmer, and Jacob Mason,
both of the County & Territory aforesaid, are held & firmly bound unto the governor
of the Mississippi Territory and his successors in office, in the penal sum of
two hundred dollars, which payment will and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our
heirs, executors, and administrators, To certify of Severally by these presents.
Witness our hands & Seals, the 9th day of July 1810.
The condition of the above obligation is such, that whereas the above bound
William Farmer, hath this day prayed and obtained, a License, to be joined
in marriage to Jemimah Roberts, both of the County aforesaid;
Now if there is no lawful cause to obstruct the marriage for which the License
was granted then the above obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full
force and virtue.

I do certify that on the 12th day of July 1810, I have joined in the bonds
of matrimony, William Farmer & Jemimah Roberts both of the
Amite County Territory of Mississippi to which I certify this
6th Day of August 1810.
