Funeral services for Jerry Wayne Faulks, age 54, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at
New Beginnings Fellowship Baptist Church, at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 24, 2006,
with Rev. Larry Jordan and Rev. Ray Duck officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn
Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Daryl Faulks, Mark Faulks, Shane Faulks,
Bobby Faulks, Kelly Faulks, Mike Duplechan, David Burns, Jr., Corey Kernell, Kyle Kernell
Bruce Millard, Bryant Goldsmith and Tommy Howard. Honorary pallbearers will be Mr. Faulks'
grandsons, the deacons and elders of New Beginnings Fellowship Church and employees of
Sulphur Springs Ford, Lincoln, Mercury and Mazda.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, April 23, 2006, at Murray-Orwosky
Funeral Home.
Jerry Wayne Faulks passed away at his residence at 4:40 a.m. on Friday, April 21, 2006.
He was born in Carlsbad, New Mexico, on August 3, 1951, the son of George Washington Faulks III
and Nadine Verbal Crawford Faulks. He married Deborah Seely in Plainview, on November 26, 1970;
she survives. Mr. Faulks was a mechanic for the Sulphur Springs Ford Dealership. He was a
member of the New Beginnings Fellowship Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and on the
board of the Calvary Singers.
Other survivors include: two daughters. Shawnda Williams & husband, Doug, of Lone Oak,
Kimberly Ratliff & husband, Terry, of Sulphur Springs; four sisters, Anita Kernell &
husband, Mike, of Sulphur Springs, Leatrice Newman, Charlie Faye Thigpen, both of San Angelo,
Adelle Lackey of Florida; five brothers, Weldon Faulks & wife, Kay, Randy Faulks & wife,
Linda, all of Sulphur Springs, Mike Faulks & wife, Ruth, of Sherman, Jimmy Don Faulks of
San Angelo, Gary Raymond Faulks of Missouri; grandchildren, Jennifer Smith, Jessica Williams,
Austin Ratliff, Jerrod Ratliff and Mattie Ratliff. He was preceded in death by his parents and
one sister, Joy Faulks.

Music Ministry.
