Lee Etta Busby Masters, 60
Lee Etta Busby Masters, age 60, of Coleman, loving mother of Dana and Nanny
of Zoe and Zeke, passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 7, 2002 in
San Angelo. Funeral services were 2:00 p. m. Sunday at Stevens Funeral Home
Chapel with Joe Hailey officiating.
Lee Etta was born August 11, 1942 in Coleman, Texas and was the daughter of
Carl J. Busby and Leola Forbess Busby. She grew up in Coleman and graduated
from Coleman High School in 1960. She later graduated from business college.
She was a systems technician for GTE (now Verizon) for 34 years, retiring in 1998.
She was a member of Elm Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Dana and Doug Adams of Coleman;
one granddaughter, Zoe Paul of Coleman; one grandson, Zeke Adams of Coleman;
two brothers, Ronnie Busby of Coleman and Dennis Busby of San Angelo; two nephews,
Doug Busby of Abilene and Aaron Busby of San Angelo; two nieces, Alexis and Amber Busby
of San Angelo; aunt and uncle, Elmer and Mildred Rodgers of Coleman; great nephew,
Austin Honeycutt of San Antonio; and numerous cousins.
Memorials may be made to the Coleman Public Library, 400 Commercial, Coleman, Texas 76834.
She will be greatly missed - she was our rock. She loved her flowers and yard and enjoyed
her grandchildren immensely.
