Jean B. Reynolds, 85, of Bangs died Sunday morning at the Brownwood
Regional Medical Center.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006, at the Bangs Church
of Christ with Michael Light officiating. Burial will follow in the Bangs Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Heartland Funeral Home.
She was born Nov. 5, 1921, in Pennsylvania. She married Louis Hubbard
Reynolds in Chicago on Dec. 31, 1945. She worked in healthcare for many years
and was known in Bangs as the Town Nurse. She had worked with Dr. Stephens
and Dr. Hall and at local nursing homes. She was active in the Bangs Senior
Citizens and formerly in the American Legion Auxiliary. She was also a former
den mother for local Cub Scouts.
She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ in Bangs and had been a
resident there since 1946 moving from Chicago.
She is survived by a daughter, Charlotte Banks; a son, Morey Mast
and wife Judy; sister, Muriel Mathus; eight grandchildren;
and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother, sister and granddaughter.
