I Winslow Turner of the County of Lincoln County and State of Missouri being
low in health but sound in mind do make constitute and appoint this my last will and
testament, firstly give and assign my body to the dust, to be buried in a plane and decent
manner and spirit to God that gave it, and with Respect to my worldly goods or property
that God has been pleased to bless me with that first of that my just debts be all punctually
paid, secondly I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Elizabeth Turner, Addam,
Alford and Aaron Turner my three youngest sons, all the property real and personal
of which I may be duly seized and possessed to remain undivided until the youngest child
above named is of lawful age, for their joint use and benefit and to be equally divided
between them so as to leave to any widow her lawful dower during her natural life and
if any left at her death to be for the benefit of the above named Adam, Alford and
Aaron Turner equal, excepting the following things which is to be paid out of the estate.
Viz.: Winslow Turner one cow one year after my death, Sally Cottle one year after
the payment of Winslow, one cow, Miles Turner one cow one year after Sally,
Elias Turner one year after after Sally the same, Deborah Highsmith one year
after Elias the same, Mary Robinson one year after Elias the same, Phebe Little
one year after Mary the same, Mahala Turner is to have give to her a colt one year old
this Spring known by the name of her Colt to be given to said Mahala at my death and
one cow one year after the payment of the cow to Phebe all of the above named are the
lawful Heirs of the first named Winslow Turner. I do also hereby appoint these
Elias Turner and Jacob Groshong my Executors of this my last will and testament,
in testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty-five.
