Deed Records of Hunt Co., TX - Book F - Pages - 69 and 70
Know all men by these presents that I Jacob. H. Guice of Hunt County Texas for
and in consideration of Sixty Six Dollars fifty cents to me paid by Henry Cornelius
of Hunt County Texas do hereby bargain sell and convey unto the said Henry Cornelius
my undivided interest and Share in and out of the Head right survey of John Roberts
made by virtue of his Certificate for one League & one Labor of land first class issued
by the Board of Land Commissioners for Red River County Texas consisting of Two
surveys of one league of land lying in said County of Hunt on South Sulphur &
one Labor of land lying on the North Boundary of said League. Said Jacob H. Guice
being a Son and one of the heirs at law of Kissiah Guice, Decd. - Maiden name
Kissiah Roberts who was the Daughter and heir at law of John Roberts aforesaid.
He the said Henry Cornelius his heirs or assigns to have and to hold said interest
herein claim & conveyed from me my heirs and assigns and said Jacob H. doth make
this instrument a good valued and prefect title to the Lands herein conveyed &
warrants & defends the same to said Henry and his legal representatives from and
against all legal claimants forever.
In Testimony where of I hereunto set my hand & scroll for seal this the Tenth day
of May A D Eighteen hundred and fifty Eight.

Before me W. S. McClure an acting Notary Public for the County of Fannin personally
appeared Jacob H. Guice to me well known and acknowledged the execution of the
foregoing Deed to Henry Cornelius for the Considerations and purposes therein
contained and expressed.
To certify which I hereto set my hand & official signature and seal Notarial this
the Tenth day of May A D Eighteen hundred and fifty Eight.
