The Consideration of the above obligation is such that I the said John Roberts
of the County and Republic aforesaid have this day furnished McQuinney H. Wright
of the County and Republic aforesaid with one land certificate calling for One
League and labor of land No. 709 dated the 7th of September 1838. Granted to the
Heirs of John Roberts, Deced. for which Estate I am Guardian and legatee having
full power vested in me by Court to make any contract that I may think best, and
he the said Wright is to take the above described claim and locate it to the best
of advantage and to pay all the Expenses - he is to have one fourth of the land to
be the Second choice in a square of a corner with the Exception of the labor which
is one hundred and Seventy Six acres which he the said Wright is to take and locate
to suit himself and when the said Wright has located and paid all the within
described expenses; I the said John Roberts, Guardian of said Estate do bind
myself my heirs and assigns to make or cause to be made unto the said McQuinney
H. Wright his heirs or assigns a good and perfect title to the one fourth of the
above described claim on Eleven hundred and fifty two acres of land as soon as it
can be obtained from the Government and when I the said John Roberts do and well
comply with my part of the Bond it is to be null and void if not to remain in full
force and effect.

I John R. Craddock, Clerk of the County Court and Exoff~~County Recorder of the
County and Republic aforesaid do hereby certify that John Roberts, administrator
of the Estate of John Roberts, decd., whose name is subscribed to the foregoing
Bond by making his mark personally appeared before me and acknowledged that he
signed said Bond sealed and delivered the same for the purposes therein contained
and Expressed.
