Know all men by these presents that I, Elizabeth Harris of Texas Hunt County
the Daughter of Isaac Myers and Lucinda Myers his wife an heir at law of said
Isaac and Lucinda do hereby bargain sell alien and convey unto H. C. Welch of
Hunt County Texas all my right title interest and claim in and to a part and
parcel of a survey of one League of land in Hunt County Texas lying on South
Sulphur & on Sabine waters made by virtue of the League and Labor head right
Certificate of John Roberts. Bounded North by the H Smith Survey in
part and partly on the East by the Moses L. Parker survey and also my interest
and Share in and out of the survey of one Labor survey made on said Certificate,
lying in Hunt County. Joining said League one on South Sulphur and said
Elizabeth Harris being the Granddaughter of said John Roberts, the
original claimant of said League and Labor, said Lucinda Myers being the
Daughter and heir at law of said John Roberts, he the said H. C. Welch
to have and to hold my interest and share in said Land Surveys. deeded by me
as heir & daughter of said Isaac Myers and Lucinda his wife. And I swear that
I am at the date of these presents lawfully seized and possessed of an interest
as aforesaid in said lands, said H. C. Welch his heirs and assigns to have and
to hold the same together with all and Singular the rights members and appurtenances
thereunto belonging or appertaining forever.
In Testimony whereof I have the said Elizabeth Harris doth hereunto set her
hand and affix her scroll for Seal this the 22nd day of February A D 1858
The above was for valuable Consideration as witness my hand and Seal.

Know all men by these presents that I Henderson Harris of Hunt County Texas the
Husband of the above Elizabeth Harris do hereby relinquish all my right title
interest and claim that I have or might acquire in and to the lands Conveyed
in the foregoing deed by said Elizabeth Harris my wife it being for value Received
as aforesaid.
Witness my hand and Scroll for {Seal} this the 22nd day of February 1858.

Before me the undersigned Authority this day personally appeared
Henderson B. Harris whose name appears to the foregoing Deed of Conveyance
and acknowledged the execution of the same for the consideration & purposes
therein Set forth and expressed. Also at the same time personally appeared
Elizabeth Harris wife of Henderson B. Harris & to me well known and whose name
and mark appears to the foregoing Deed of Conveyance to H. C. Welch and after
having the same Read and fully explained to her by me and after having here
examined her privately and apart from her said Husband acknowledged that she
signed the same of her own free will & accord and by the consent of her Husband
and that she wished not to retract what she had done.
Given under my hand & seal of Office in Greenville this the 25th day of February A D 1858
