This Indenture made the tenth day of May in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and twenty six. Between Isaac Elstin and
Hannah his wife of the County of Clermont and State of Ohio
of the first part and Archibald Lafferty of the County of Clermont
and State aforesaid of the second part: Witnesseth, that the said
party of the first in Consideration of the sum of four hundred and fifty five
dollars of lawful money of Ohio, to them in hand paid, by the said party
of the Second part, the receipt where of is hereby acknowledged have
granted, bargained, sold, aliened verified and confirmed and by
these presents do grant bargain sell alien verify and confirm unto the said
party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever. All that certain
tract or parcel of land lying and being in the County of Clermont
and State of Ohio Containing forty six acres twelve perches on the
waters of the Little Miami and bounded as follows towit:
Beginning at sugar tree in the road leading from Miami to the
Goshen and Milford road and corner to Isaac Elstin.
Thence on land of said Elstin S. 6l E 22 ½ poles to a stone corner to
Elstin, thence with his line 35 W. 12 poles to a stone, thence E. 29
E. 30 poles to a stone, thence N. 31 E. 12 poles to a stone thence S. 61
E. 14 ½ poles to a white oak, thence S. 8° W. 44 poles to a stone
and dogwood sapling, thence S. 70 W. 82 poles to a stone thence
N. 20 ½ W. 35 poles to a stake. thence N. 43° 8° E 97 3/100 poles
to the Beginning.
Together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances
thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and the resource and
resources, remainder and remainders rents, issues and fruits thereof
and all the Estate right, title, interest, claim or Demand whatsoever of
the said party of the first part either in law Equity of in and to the
above bargained premises with the said hereditaments and appurtenances.
To Have and To Hold the said premises above particularly mentioned
and described to the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns
forever and the said Isaac Elstin do for himself his heirs
Executors and administrators covenant and grant to and with the said
party of the second part his heirs and assigns that they the said party
of the first part & one lawfully seized in fee of the aforesaid
granted premises that they are free from all encumbrance, that they have
good right to sell and Convey the same to the said party of the second
part & as aforesaid that he will and his heirs, executors and
administrators shall warrant and defend the same to the said party
of the second part his heirs and assigns forever against all lawful
Demands of all persons.
In Witness Whereof, the said Isaac Elstin and Hanna
his wife have hereunto set their hands and seals the day
and year first above written.

The this tenth day of May in the year of our Lord one
Thousand and eight hundred and twenty six Isaac Elstin
and Hanna his wife the grantors named in the within
Deed of Conveyance personally appeared before me one of
the Justices of the Peace in and for said County
severally acknowledged the signing and sealing of the
same as their act and Deed for the purposes therein
expressed, and the said Hanna Elstin having been
made known to the contents of said Deed and being by me
examined separate and apart from her husband, declared
that she voluntarily and of her own free will and accord
without fear or coercion of her husband did and now doth
acknowledge the signing and sealing thereof.
