Deposition of Joseph Kuykendall
Texas Supreme Court Case #696
4th Joseph Kuykendall, testified by deposition.
I know the parties to this Suit-. I know Jno. M. Kuykendall, and have known him Since the
Summer of 1836. I knew his father and Mother, A. L. Kuykendall and Ann Eliza Kuykendall,
before and after Jno. M. Kuykendall was born. I have seen John M. Kuykendall Sucking his
mother, and was told by A. L. Kuykendall - that John M. Kuykendall was his Son.
They lived on my place about one year, and were at my house frequently in 1836.I don't know
where they lived at the time of their death - nor where they died. Ann Elisa, the mother
died before her husband A. L. Kuykendall. I knew A. L. Kuykendall and Ann Elisa and they
called the plaintiff in this Suit their son. I don't know when they came to Texas, but I
know they were here before 1835. At the time I knew them they lived in Fort Bend County,
don't know when they died but I know Ann Eliza died first.
