Will Of Joshua Turner III
In the name of God amen. I Joshua Turner of Pembroke
in the County of Plymouth, yeoman, being weak in Body but sound in
mind & memory thanks to God therefore, do now make this my last Will
& Testament in manner & form following. viz:
After payment of my just Debts by my Executrixhereafter named I give
& bequeath all the Estate, which I may possess at the time of my demise
in the following manner. ~
I give & bequeath to my beloved wife Betsey the Improvements
of all my Estate both real & personal, after my Debts are paid so long as
she remains my widow. ~
I do also give & bequeath of my eldest Son Winslow Turner
eighty three Cents. ~
I do also give & bequeath of my second Son Joshua Turner
eighty three Cents. ~
I do also give and bequeath of my third Son Joseph Turner
eighty three Cents. ~
I do also give & bequeath to my fourth Son Ezichiel Turner
eighty three Cents. ~
I do also give & bequeath to my fifth Son Thomas Turner
eighty three Cents. ~
I do also give & bequeath to eldest Daughter Betsy Peterson,
Wife of Jacob Peterson, a Note of hand which I hold against her
Husband Jacob Peterson with all the Interest that my be due thereon. ~
I do also give and bequeath to my second Daughter Deborah
Soper wife of Isaac Soper eighty three Cents. ~
I do also give & bequeath to my youngest Daughter Sela
Winslow Leavitt Wife of Laban Leavitt all my real & personal Estate,
which I may be seized of lying in Pembroke to her her Heirs & assigns
forever. And I do hereby nominate & appoint my Daughter Sela
Winslow Leavitt Executrix to this my last Will & Testament.
In Witness whereof I hereunto set my hand & Seal this tenth day
of October 1815. ~
