Winslow was born about 1762. He was baptized in Pembroke June 1767.
Winslow died in Lincoln County Missouri before 17 May 1825
which was the date his will was recorded.
(son of Joshua and Betty (Bowker) Turner.
The will of Joshua Turner of Pembroke dated 10 Oct. 1815,
names wife Betsey, son Winslow Turner, and other children.

On 29 Dec. 1796 (acknowledged 31 Dec. 1796) Winslow Turner of Pembroke
sold land in the Marshfield Commons to Joshua Turner III of Pembroke.
Molly renounced her dower.
On 12 July 1806 Joseph Cottle swore before the Board of Commissioners to establish
land titles and claims in the Louisiana Territory that Winslow Turner settled
998 arpents of land in the district of St. Charles in Sept. 1803, and moved in his family
in the beginning of 1804 and continued to live thereon.
Cottle also testified that as of 20 Dec. 1803 Winslow Turner had a wife and
five children living with him.
In the 1817 census of Upper Colver Township, St. Charles County, Missouri Territory
Winslow Turner was age over 45, with 3 males under 18 and 2 females over 14,
3 females under 14.
In the same census his son-in-law Stephen Cottle was 18-45 and had one females
over 14 and 6 children; Miles Turner age 18-45 had one female over 14 with him;
and Elias Turner 18-45 yrs. was living alone.
The will of Winslow Turner of Lincoln County Missouri
dated 1825 was recorded 17 May 1825, names wife Elizabeth; youngest sons
Addam, Alford and Aaron Turner (under age); Winslow Turner; Sally Cottle;
Miles Turner; Elias Turner; Deborah Highsmith; Mary Robinson;
Phebe Little; Mahala Turner.
On 28 June 1825 Winslow Turner and Jacob Groshong, executors of the
last will and testament of Winslow Turner, deceased, , and the two witnesses
appeared in court and sore that the testator was not of sound and disposing mind;
therefore the will was rejected by the court.
On 28 June 1825 Winslow Turner and Elias Turner were appointed administrators
of the will of Winslow Turner, late of Lincoln County
On 25 June 1826 Elizabeth Turner, in exchange for a promise of lifetime support,
sold her dower right in the 640 acres she lives on, formerly of Winslow Turner, deceased
to Abial Robinson.
On 10 Nov. 1826 Winslow Turner and wife Betty; Stephen Cottle and wife Sally;
Ahijah M. Highsmith and wife Deborah; and Adam Turner sold their 4/11th share of
the 640 acres Bedford Township, Lincoln County to David Bailey.
On 31 July 1828 Elias Turner and wife Keziah sold their share to David Bailey.
On 15 March 1830 Mahala Turner sold her share to Abial Robinson.
On 24 May 1834 Alfred Turner sold his share to Abial Robinson.
On 27 Aug. 1843 Abial and Mary Robinson for themselves and representing Alfred Turner;
William Null and Phebe Null his wife; Alonzo Cottle and Mahala Cottle his wife;
and Elizabeth widow of Winslow Turner and Aaron Turner for himself and representing
the heirs of Miles Turner deceased sold their entire interest in the 640 acre tract to David Bailey.
NOTE: From the wording of the will, it appears sons Adam, Alford and Aaron Turner
are by the second wife Elizabeth.
